Richard is the founder of Worseson Labs, which specializes on researching non-earth creatures. His adoptive pet and assistant Leafer Naturo works with him mostly and sometimes uses him as a test subject, even though he tells to him that he's (Leafer) just assisting him. Richard can be seen as selfish, perfectionist, egoistic, treating his workers badly, but he's really different with Leafer, with him he can been seen as caring, altruistic, empathic and open-minded, even though he uses him as a test subject sometimes. He adopted Leafer from a planet he was exploring for potental future living and he found him laying on the ground crying front of his parents' corpses
